Founded in 1923, Bye’s Popcorn has become famous across "NY West", as well
as around the country.
What makes Bye’s Popcorn so popular is the way it’s made, and, in doing
so, the way it tastes. Owner Pat Drewes insists that it is carefully
blended with the highest quality ingredients in gas-fired copper kettles,
before it’s hand-mixed with paddles.
Varieties of her popcorn include White Popcorn, Carmel Corn, and Carmel
Corn with Peanuts or Cashews. You can buy any of it fresh from her
roadside stand in small to jumbo bags, priced from about a dollar to four
dollars.
The Bye’s Popcorn stands are open every day, May through September.
The main popcorn stand and manufacturing center is located on Route 78 in
Olcott Beach, New York. The phone number is 716-751-9892.Bye’s Popcorn
stand also located along routes 425 and 93 in Cambria, NY.
