Discover NY West and WNYO TV, WB 49, are teaming-up to offer "Discover" travel features on the station’s NEWS AT TEN.

Under terms of the agreement, DISCOVER NY WEST, will be a television exclusive for WB 49, and will air each Thursday evening on its NEWS AT TEN, beginning on June 30^th, 2005.

The television launch is one of several recent developments for the DISCOVER NY WEST company and campaign, which have added several additional print publications to those who carry its travel column.  It is also a regular feature and sponsor of the KAHLE & COMPANY Radio Show on WHLD-AM 1270.  It’s completely re-designed website will soon debut at www.discovernywest.com.

Campaign co-founder Brian Kahle, who will write and produce the new "Discover" segments for TV, says he is thrilled to have them on the air at WNYO TV, whose NEWS AT TEN, is a growing force in the Buffalo TV news market.  Says Kahle, "Like Discover NY West, WB 49’s News At Ten is an up and comer, with a great future."

Campaign co-founder Kathy O’Keefe adds, "If we could get government to come together like the media has for this truly regional approach to tourism, we in all of NY West could begin to prosper again."

Founded in 2001 by Kahle and O’Keefe, both of Wilson, NY, Discover NY West was created to combine and showcase the tourism-rich assets of the eight counties, for which they created the "NY West" name and slogan.
