Located on Route 16 in Machias, NY, Machias Surplus is an amazing, family-owned store, catering to the needs of sportsmen, crafters, campers, and anyone needing hardware of any kind.

The lower level offers plumbing and electrical items, along with automotive products and lawn garden supplies. In addition, there's a large variety of handmade crafts, collectibles, candles, chimes, jewelry and baskets.

The upper level offers fishing tackle, live bait, guns and ammo, and outdoor clothing, including Carhartt. There's also a large archery department, with factory-trained technicians on bow repair, arrow making, and shooting.

In the fall of the year, Machias Surplus draws lots of "leaf lookers" who visit the Southern Tier and offers pumpkins, apple cider and fall decorating items.

Business Hours are Monday through Saturday, from 9am to 6pm, Sunday 9-5pm.
