A cluster of immense boulders at the base of a gorge in Rock City Park, near Olean, NY. Deposited by fast moving streams, moving southward from the ancestral Appalachian Mountains 240 million years ago. This is the world's largest exposure of Quartz Conglomerate, sometimes referred to as "Pudding Stone".

The boulders have individual names, like "Cluster Rock", "Balancing Rock", and "Face in the Rock".

They are located within Rock City Park, a 23 acre site, where you'll also find picnic facilities with rest rooms, as well as a gift shop. Rock City is open daily from May 1st through October 31st.

The address is Route 16 South, Olean, New York. For information,
call 1-866-404 ROCK.
