A cluster of immense boulders at the base of a
gorge in Rock City Park, near Olean, NY. Deposited by fast moving
streams, moving southward from the ancestral Appalachian Mountains
240 million years ago. This is the world's largest exposure of
Quartz Conglomerate, sometimes referred to as "Pudding Stone".
The boulders have individual names, like "Cluster
Rock", "Balancing Rock", and "Face in the
Rock".

They are located within Rock City Park, a 23 acre
site, where you'll also find picnic facilities with rest rooms,
as well as a gift shop. Rock City is open daily from May 1st
through October 31st.
